This is my favourite way to season salmon at home. Perfect for entertaining, date night, or a quick weeknight dinner. It's brushed in a garlic butter and baked, which pretty much means you can't go wrong with this recipe!

My go-to salmon seasoning

What You'll Need

  • Baking tray
  • Small mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon filet (skin on) (aprox. 2 lbs)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place a large piece of foil on baking sheet, place salmon fillet on top (skin side down)
  3. Combine melted butter and minced garlic.
  4. Brush half of the butter mixture over salmon. Combine the remaining spices in a small bowl and evenly sprinkle over salmon.
  5. Drizzle with the rest of the garlic butter.
  6. Bake salmon for 15-20 minutes and then, enjoy!
